Lucky Me! I'm off today due to working thru Christmas. My mom, Aunt & I are on our way to visit old cemetaries. We are on a quest to research our roots. I've been fascinated about how my ancestors lived. They didn't have phones, cell phones, internet, CNN, etc so how did they make it? When I grew up we had a small farm and we canned vegetables and butchered our own meats. So I do know how to pick beans, shell them and can them. Also how to raise cows, hogs & chickens and buther them. However we had a tractor, electric stove & freezers. We had it easy compared to our ancestors. I'd better get off this computer and get going!
